Quit My Job
I have sent a mail to my boss and told her I wanted to quit my job. That job was my first job in Calgary. I got it after I have arrived in Canada two month. My job usually were food prepare and cashier. However, we changed into another boss who worked with our first boss before six month ago because the first boss had some personal reasons that he had to switch his store to other people, and then our bad day followed it come.

Our second boss changed almost rules that staff did not like her since she became our new leader. She always liked saving everything, if our customers knew that, they could not come to eat our food in the future .Also, she always reminded us doing everything very quickly, you would be suggested if she saw you worked slowly or stopped working .We knew that she had some difficulty in buying that store and she wanted to do everything perfectly, but her rules looked like so acrimony that many worker had quit their jobs.

Now, I really want to quit my job too, and I will tell our boss I hate you and your new rules loudly. As a while, I think our boss need to pay attention to her actions, otherwise she will lose more workers in the future, and maybe one day she will lose everything that could be her whole store.

Today is the Canada Day, but I have to go to work .

When I went out my dormitory, I met a young man who need to cleck in to dormitory asked me how he could find some people cleck in because the residence office closed.I told him that could go into residence directly to find some people who were in the first floor's office.He had not had the key yet,so I had to go with him to the dormitory building and used my key opened that door.However,there were not have any officers either.I thought that maybe the campus security who usually walked around in the student centre could help him ,and I were going to work in the student centre too..Therefore,I asked him go with me to student centre to find some help.By the way,from some talking I knew that he came from spain and would study in our university .After we arrived in student centre,we did not find any security on the second floor, so I had to run to the place that I worked gave the security a phone cell ,and let that young man wait for me on the second floor because I thought he had many baggages and must be tired.I told the scurity the problem that that man were having and asked for a help.The security said he would wait us on the second floor.Then ,I ran to second floor again to find that young man.Finally,the young man with the security went to a office that could be helpful.The young man thanked me before they left.

Although I would work late today ,I thought a person got a help from me, so I felt very happy.

I will go back China after finishing my final exams.

I have not seen my family for almost one year, and I have studied several months in Calgar ,Canada. I really want to see my family and my friends in my hometown Beijing , especially I miss my grandfathers , who are my mother 's father and my father 's father, had past away. My grandfather who is my father's father just left us before I went to Canada last year, so I am worried about my grandmother very much because she will be alone by herself in her spare time. As people as known , when an old woman lost her dear husband, that must be sad in her rest of life. My grandfather and my grandmother had a very well relationship, and they got along with each other very well.They always like doing the same thing together and like helping each other. Now I can remember that my grandfather and my grandmother had the scene which is making fun each other was very unforgettable. However, I also would miss my dear partens when I were in my bed to prepare to sleep .Sometimes I may remrember some delicious food that were cooked by my mother made me unforgettable too, and I can remreber that I talked about some interesting things with my father that made us very enjoyable.

In short, I really want that I could go back China right now.

The Hateful Mosquito

The Hateful Mosquito
This Friday was a bad day because I were bit by a hateful mosquito that was huge. Now my left arm is suffering a pain and swellings. I can not believe that a huge mosquito could have such toxicity that my arm have to suffer the pain.However,I hear from my friends who lived in Calgary longer than me , as thay said the mosquitoes that lived in Canada had the gigntic toxicity , and you will suffer at least two weeks if you are bit a mosquito unluckily.Actually I did not want to believe my friends said that the mosquitoes in Canada had the gigntic toxicity is a fact, but now I have to try to believe it after the same situtation happened at me.

As some people as knowen, the female mosquitoes bite persons in order to feed their infants, but there is no doubt that I had became a victim.I do not want to hate those mosquitoes, athough they brought me some pains and now I felt a great deal of pain.

All in all, I hople my left arm will have a better feeling next week.

Missing My Grandfather

I am really missing my grandfather now because I lost my grandfather forever last year.

There was a rainy Friday on June 24th last year, my grandfather had to stop his breath after suffering the lung cancer more than one year.I will never forget that time ( 4:46 am on June 24th , 2006 ) on which my grandfather leave away us forever.I did not believe that my grandfather died by the lung cancer.As many my grandfather 's friends as knowen, my grandfather had such a strong body that they thought my grandfather wound have a long life.Although my grandfdfather suffered the lung cancer, he always liked doing some exercises at the park in the morning and going to dance in a party in the evening to keep his health .In his spare time ,he usually like watching the programs of boxing and drawing pictures .As an excellent soldier, my grandfather who was a admiral helped

some people solved some problems and did not retire before he left us . I have put my grandfather 's picture in my cell phone as my background for one year in order to commemorate him.While missing my grandfather ,I sometime would have a looke at my grandfather 's picture in my cell phone. I always thought my grandfather close me although he had left me was the truth.

Nowadays I can remember that some interesting things happened between my grandfather and me, and my grandfather also gave me many good examples that will affect me in my whole life.I lived with my grandfather in a long time and we produced a very deep love each other.Today I write this blog to commemorate my dear grandfather left us one whole year.Although I am in Calgary , Canada that I can not to see him with my family , I really hope he will live in another world happily.

Finding a apartment

Still this Finday the resident office told me I must pay a deposit of one thousand dollars if I want to make sure living in dormitory in university, becasuse I applied that in Janary this year with paying application fee.However, I want to live in a apartment with my friend who is a first year student is taking courses in our university ,and my friend will be not a fresh student next year, so she have to find anthor apartment to move out dormitory because the dormitory is only for the first year students.Although I could live the dormitory next term, we still finding a three bedrooms apartment in the internet these few days. This Finday we fond a three bedrooms appartment at Thirty-Seven Street , we make a apointment to veiw that apartment ,and that address is so difficult to find that we asked five people to find it finally .After viewing , we though that the transportation was not convenient although that apartment is near by our university.Now, we are looking for another apartment that we like and is convenient to take bus or C-train near our university.

A Buffet

A Buffet
This Sunday my boss whom I am working for treated us to eat a buffet in a Chinese restaurant. There were both all kinds of Chinese food and several western-style foods in that restaurant. I really enjoyed them that made me remember the savor of some Chinese food in my country, I suddenly cherished memory of some delicious food that are cooking by my mother, also, I yearned my family so much. However, we chatted and talked about some interesting topics when we had nice meals together, and I knew the family of our boss that had four daughters and a couple deeply after we talked each other .In this buffet I were interested in the steak that is a kind of roasted beef in this restaurant, and that steaks were so popular that some customers had to stand in a long line to take them. I ordered a piece of medium steak and put some BBQ sauce on the surface of meat, which was dainty. After we finished our dinner, we saw a semicircular rainbow in the sky, which is so beautiful that I put my cell phone right now quickly to photograph those nice views, and I was very excited with seeing that because I did not have more chance to see a rainbow in my country. In all, I had a good time in this weekend.

A Terrible Holiday

Although I had a long weekend, I had to finish my homework and to work hand my part time job. Unluckily, my computer was right to have a trouble that is I can not run my computer at all, and I was worried that because I had lots of homework need to type. Then, I asked my friend to help me repair my computer quickly, and he is an expert in computer and is studying the computer engineering in our university. After he checked the problem of my computer firstly, he said I need to wait at least three days, so I had to go to the library to type my homework in my long weekend. However, I had another reason to explain that I had a terrible holiday. I continue working my part time job about eight hours because there was a volleyball game in our university on this holiday, so a great deal of audiences and team members went to our store to order our meals. I did not have a chance to have a break although we can break after we worked in a long time. All in all, I had a tired holiday that I can not forget. However, everything has gone, and everything will be better now. Also, my computer can run regularity, I am very thankful to my friend for helping me.

I am a Chinese girl who comes from Beijing, and I am studying English program in University of Calgary after I finished my high school in China। I have already been here for eight months to study English. I fond my first job in student center of our university when I studied English in Calgary three months. That job is an interesting job in a fast food store, and many works I need to do, such as taking an order, preparing all kinds of food, making all kinds of breads, and taking a cashier. I were afraid that I could not become a competent worker in that store at the beginning of working in there, but I gradually found that job was not difficult with me after I worked one week and grasped some skills. However, I heard some international students who went to study while having a part time job before I arrived in Canada. Nowadays, as they I enjoy my busy lives that are studying and working a part time job happened at the same time. Without doubt I go to Canada in order to study English and take courses in university. Therefore, I focus my attention only on English studies, and also I studied some knowledge which I did not study in my English class from my part time job.
